I worked as an in-house creative marketing specialist for the leading credit reporting company. I was hired to lead the development of online content and social media marketing material while the company geared up for an acquisition. I worked with a team to create the CreditReport.com blog with original content designed to increase awareness of credit scores and credit reporting in layman’s terms. I also created the social media channels with original content and grew an organic following of thousands. Lastly, we created original content for YouTube; a process that consisted of hosting casting calls for actors, soliciting client testimonials and shooting and editing entertaining videos. Like most companies, CreditReport.com’s online presence became the best vehicle for customer engagement and a way for the company to directly address the questions and concerns of it’s users.

One of the many highlights of this position (in addition to the close-knit team and creative freedom) was working for the company that was the official sponsor of the LA Lakers during their championship winning streak. We hosted several promotional events with the Lakers and integrated our brand into all of the Lakers games and press conferences. We also enjoyed lots of perks to say the least.
